“…[T]he effort to make sure American leaders can communicate with crews manning the nation’s nuclear missiles and nuclear-capable bombers is run out of Hanscom. In 2015, the Air Force selected the base as home for the Nuclear Command, Control and Communications Integration Directorate, a unit tasked with upgrading all the communications systems tying America’s strategic nuclear forces together.” – Bedford Minuteman, Sept 14, 2017

In 1776, the shot heard around the world was fired within miles of Hanscom. In 2018, we will shout until the world hears us: nuclear disarmament is the way forward. Just like the Minutemen who had the audacity and courage to stand up to King George, we must stand up to Trump and those who profit from nuclear weapons.

WHAT: A peaceful, nonviolent walk around Hanscom

WHEN: Patriots Day, Monday, April 16, 2018, 10a-6p

WHERE: Starting in Lexington, continuing through Lincoln, Concord, and Bedford, before finishing in Lexington at the starting point

WHO: You, me, and everybody!

WHY: To inform the US Government that Bedford and the surrounding communities do not want to be a target for nuclear weapons, to spread the message of the need for nuclear disarmament.

COST: transportation to the event and lunch if you desire
